LCD Flat Screen TV - Catching Up To Plasma

Several years ago, if you wanted a flat screen TV your only real choice was plasma. There where some LCD flat screen TV around but not very many. When you went into your local electronics store, you would typically see row after row of plasma's. If you did see a LCD flat screen TV, it was probably much smaller than the plasma as the technology just wan't there to make them as big.

Now in 2008 though, things have changed considerably. I just went to my local Costo and what I found was almost the opposite of what it was several years ago. Almost all the flat screens were LCD and off in one corner where the two plasma's they had for sale. LCD flat screen TV's now come in all sizes and their price keeps dropping. It's a great thing as now almost everyone can afford a LCD flat screen TV.
